Me Playing Sonic 2 in 1994 and getting a Genesis for Christmas

First footage is of me when I was 6 years old playing Sonic the Hedgehog 2 at my Grandparents house. This was my Grandpa's Sega Genesis and I did not have one of my own as of yet. I loved visiting just so I could play all of his Genesis games, Sonic 2 being my personal favorite. Later that year I would get a Genesis of my own for Christmas along with "Chakan" and the pack-in Sonic the Hedgehog 2. Not including my Dad's Colecovision, the Sega Genesis was my first game system.

Vlog 11 - Updates, New Website, Renegade Reviewers DVD & More!

Yes the Vlogs return! After a very long break from my last vlog (not including 5,000 subscriber video) I am back to bring you some new ramblings. This time I discuss the opening of this very website, rant about the problem YouTube is having with the messaging system and seem to just be ignoring it, I talk about the Renegade Reviewers DVD, A gift from RetroGamer3, and my plans for 10,000 subscribers! (Hint it includes something to do with live broadcast)

My PS2 Collection (4 Parts)

After recording this the other day and finding out only the first 1:20 mintues were recorded, I went at it again and ended up with a 4 part video. The PS2 is my favorite game system, so I wanted to do it justice and not rush myself through my collection (which by the way would have been really hard to even rush through it and fit it under 2 parts). You will notice I own a ton of RPG's for the system, and really I have played mostly all of the games I own for it except some of my recent purchases I made. Be sure to watch all 4 parts in order, embeded after the jump!

Interested in starting a 32X Collection?

Sega brought us the 32X, a gaming system billed as a 32-bit add-on for the Sega Genesis. In order to play the 32X's library of games it required that you already owned a Genesis as the 32X went into the cartridge slot and from there Genesis and 32X games would be inserted into the 32X itself. The sysetem is a mixed bag, including enhanced 16-bit titles that questioned the legitimacy of calling the 32X a true 32-bit system. Fortunately there were a few games that pushed the usage of polygons to try and show off the systems power.

In terms of collectability for the system, it is truly a niche system. It was not even out in the US for a full year before it was discontinued and as a result only 36 titles were ever released in the us, as well as 3 import exclusives from the UK and Japan. This makes collecting for the system pretty easy, as only a handful of titles should give you any trouble to track down.
